Co-generative Toolkit (Co-genT) Introduction to the Project In partnership with the University of Winchester and the Western Vocational Lifelong Learning Network, the University of Gloucestershire has been successful in obtaining funding from the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) for an innovative project which seeks to become a leading initiative in the field of demand-led education. The project will run from April 2009 to March 2011, and aims to develop technological tools to enable the co-generation of higher education curricula by employers in partnership with academics. The project promotes the role of technology in supporting and developing Business and Community Engagement (BCE) initiatives through the integration of systems, embedding graduate attributes and employment-related skills within an institutional accreditation framework, the Gloucestershire Shell Framework.Co-genT will establish methodologies for BCE supported by configurable tools which will enable flexibility, accessibility and the personalisation of curricula across a wide range of continuing professional development (CPD) and degree courses. The toolkit will be tested and evaluated by the University of Gloucestershire and project partners, University of Winchester and the Western Vocational Lifelong Learning Network.
