Staff Handbook - Introduction

Welcome to the University of Gloucestershire Staff Handbook, which brings together information on a variety of topics you need as part of your work.

It includes links to key university documents and information pages on the University web site, as well as providing a summary for a range of topics.

The Handbook is available on the University web site and in printed form. Take some time to read through it. Any feedback you may have would be welcome, particularly if there are additional items you would like to see added.

The Personnel Handbook and the Health and Safety Handbook, which are referenced in this Staff Handbook, are printed to standards to ensure good practice as part of the Disability Equality Scheme Action Plan.

The University publication "Working towards an inclusive educational experience for disabled students: legal requirements and examples of good practice" defines the standards of good practice which are expected for all University publications and communications (printed or electronic).

If you have problems in accessing printed copies of documents described in this Staff Handbook, either contact the Human Resources Department or the department or person cited as responsible for the document if that information is available.

The links given in the Handbook are those active at the time of issue. If you find that a link no longer works you are requested to report this to the Human Resources Department.
