Students change the way Pittville communicates

The Faculty of Media, Art and Communications has been collaborating with the creative talents based at the faculty on two major marketing projects.
A new look and feel faculty prospectus has been designed by a group of five Pittville students in partnership with the marketing department that sells the culture of the courses at the faculty rather than following the standard set up of prospectuses — this prospectus can be viewed here.
The Faculty has also taken the latest Design Your Future UCAS Fair by storm. A project led by two final year Graphic Design students, Nicole Vernon and Hanna Irvine, took a completely different approach to selling courses to students with an informal stand that radiated the informal culture of the courses at the Faculty, and allowed prospective students to engage in a fun way by showing their origami skills by building paper planes and launching them in to a target to win a prize. It was a tremendous success with over 500 planes submitted and 3500 prospectuses given out!
