Experience
Dr. Judy Li Zhu is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Gloucestershire Business School. She holds a MSc in Marketing from UMIST and a PhD in Marketing from the University of Manchester. Prior to joining the University of Gloucestershire, she worked as a lecturer at Manchester Business School, the University of Manchester.

Interests
Dr. Zhu’s primary area of research is international and cross-cultural consumer behaviour. Her research has been published in the proceedings of Academy of Marketing, Academy of Marketing Science and European Marketing Academy.
Her recent research looks at national cultural characteristics, materialism, conspicuous and status consumption as well as emerging consumer behaviour in Asia. Her research also has a strong focus on young-adult consumers. Use is made of both qualitative and quantitative methods in Dr. Zhu’s research, with a special interest in theory development and test with Structural Equation Modelling.
