Interests Tracy’s main research area is in management accounting. She has a particular interests are in the area of management’s financial information needs and budgeting and she has published in these areas, as well as more generally in the field of applied accounting and financial management. She also has a particular interest in the service sector as her background is in the hospitality industry. She is interested in how management accounting techniques can be applied in such service environments. She has published her work in a number of journals and books, as well as presenting at research conferences over the last 15 years. She is currently supervising a number of PhD students and able to offer supervision in a number of management accounting areas and service industry accounting topics.
