Brief Biography

I began my career working for insurance companies before quickly realising that I wanted a job that reflected my0 voluntary youth and community work. This has taken me all over the country (Yorkshire, North East & London) and over the world (Turkey, USA). Having worked in the voluntary sector for many years I ended up working with a local authority and an NHS Trust where I developed my training skills and an interest in public sector workforce development. This led to my current post with the University. When not working I enjoy food and has appeared on Ready, Steady, Cook; Travel, which included an expedition to Africa where I ate rat; Sport, especially football and baseball.
