Experience and Interests

• 2003 Children's Activities Worker, Cheltenham YMCA - running playscheme and other out of school play and activity clubs for children; developing youth volunteering programme.
• 1999 Children's and Youth Worker, St Luke's Church, Cheltenham - running youth and children's programmes in schools and church, and holiday clubs.

My academic interests include behavioural ecology, psychologies of play, pragmatism, phenomenology and philosophy of mind. I am planning a piece of research into children's playful use of public space and its impact on the wider community.

My other interests include cycling, cricket, rugby union, "green" issues, cryptic crosswords and cooking.
