Student Experience
Scholarships - Supporting Elite/High Performers
The Open Sports Scholarship is available to all students at the University of Gloucestershire, for any sport recognised by Sport England.
Successful candidates will receive:
- £500 bursary to help cover costs for the benefit of the scholars sport (i.e. travel, training/competition expenses, equipment
- Sports science support
- Access to an individual sports mentor
- Free membership to the University’s gym
- Free car-parking permit
- Lifestyle management seminars
- Opportunities for flexibility with academic programme
Other Sport performance Scholarships have been established with a wide range of clubs, organisations and Governing Bodies.
N.B. Successful candidates for sports performance scholarships will receive benefits according to the partner the scholarship is linked with, which may differ from the ones listed above for the open sports scholarship.
