John Bennett is a plantsman and has worked for 30 years in education, both in horticultural and botanical posts at the Cheshire College of Agriculture, Manchester University Botanical Department, Gloucester College of Art & Technology and, presently, the Department of Natural and Social Sciences.

John has recently been part of a team developing a Horticultural software package called HELIOS which was designed for the Landscape industry. Outside of his Horticultural role, John demonstrates basic skills in Autocad and other packages.
