Profile Emily is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and qualified professional business coach with 15 years experience of working with organisations to help improve performance (in Jan 2004 she was featured in the Independent on Sunday as one of Britain’s 10 leading Occupational Psychologists). After working as an Occupational Psychologist within a number of industries, in 2006 she started her own consultancy and now provides business coaching and organisational development to clients including Magnox, the NHS, and Network Rail. In January 2009, Emily joined the University as a part-time senior lecturer as she has always believed in sharing her passion for Psychology and encouraging others’ development.
Emily’s specialist areas are around individual and organisational development, with an interest in safety critical organisations. She is currently coaching around 30 senior managers to help them to develop their leadership. In addition, she has extensive experience in helping organisations improve safety, as well as helping them to function in a way that is conducive to optimal performance.
