Dr Kate North Position Contact Kate joined The University of Gloucestershire in 2007. She teaches across the Creative Writing Programme on Poetry, Prose and Theory modules. Her poetry is widely anthologised and can be read in Pterodactyl's Wing (Parthian, 2003). Her debut novel, Eva Shell, is told in a variety of media including poetry, text messages, diary entries and letters. (Cinnamon Press, 2008). She was poetry editor for Aesthetica Magazine (2006/7) and currently edits for iota poetry magazine. She writes reviews, articles and interviews for a variety of magazines and journals. Her research interests include Hybrid Writing, Contemporary British Poetry and Prose, Feminist Literature and Theory, Postmodernism and Cyborg Theory.
