Inclusive Curriculum Project (ICP) The project is designed to develop, disseminate and embed resources for supporting disabled students studying geography, earth and environmental sciences in higher education and to transfer the generic lessons widely to subject-based academics, educational developers, learning support staff and disability advisors.
Disability Guides: Learning Support for Disabled Students Undertaking Fieldwork and Related Activities Six Web-based guides resulting from the 'Learning Support for Disabled Students Undertaking Fieldwork and Related Activities' project, funded by HEFCE's Improving Provision for Disabled Students Funding Programme.
DfEE Guides: Key Skills in Geography in Higher Education Guides to 'key skills in geography in higher education'. Seven of these Guides are aimed at staff, whilst the Guide 'Geography@University: making the most of your geography degree and courses' is aimed at students, who are in or about to enter higher education.
FDTL Guides: Good Teaching, Learning and Assessment Practices in Geography Edited by Phil Gravestock and Mick Healey Guides covering a range of methods of delivering and assessing teaching and learning. Each Guide contains an overview of good practice for the particular application, case studies including contact names and addresses, and a bibliography. Each Guide is produced by one of the institutional teams consisting of a geography specialist(s) and educational developer(s).
