After You Graduate: What To Do Next?

If you’ve graduated, but you’re still unsure about your next step — contact the Careers Team via our website.
We can assist you in thinking about what jobs may suit you and help you to explore your options. We can also help with all aspects of job-hunting, making applications and preparing for interviews. You can come in and see us, use our on-line ‘advice by e-mail’ service or talk to us on the telephone or via Skype. Our services are available to you free of charge for three years after you graduate — so don’t hesitate to get in touch!

What Next? - Tell us about it!
We will be contacting you in November for the National Annual Destination of Leavers from Higher Education Survey ( Adobe PDF  DHLE Survey Flyer (338Kb Adobe PDF)  ). For more information, please contact the Careers Team.

Graduate Challenge continues to support recent Graduates

The University of Gloucestershire is delighted to announce that its successful Graduate Challenge Programme is running again!

Our last scheme ran for 18 months in total and was extremely successful. Approximately 50% of graduates from the last scheme secured subsequent employment (many with their host company).

"A fantastic opportunity to gain much needed work experience, which in conjunction with a degree, makes you ultimately more employable and more attractive to potential employers."
- Louise Bennett, Graduate Challenge graduate

Graduate Challenge is a programme for recent Higher Education graduates who are either out of work, or working fewer than 16 hours a week. How does a 16 week paid work placement sound?

And what if you could earn CAT points towards a Masters Degree while you're at it?

If this sounds like you, please visit our website — www.graduatechallenge.co.uk/ or contact the Graduate Challenge team on 01242 714104 or email graduatechallenge@glos.ac.uk

Good luck!
